    Michael StewartMichael Stewart, President/CEO
    Michael has over 20 years of human resource consulting experience in the areas of leadership development, organizational effectiveness and performance management. As President and CEO, Michael is responsible for providing vision, strategy, and leadership for Work Effects. Michael takes a hands-on approach to product development, sales, operations and marketing. He joined the company as a partner in 2002, and was named President and CEO in 2006. Michael has an extensive expertise in strategically growing organizations. Prior to joining Work Effects, Michael was a Senior Partner for Questar Data Systems where he helped grow the organization by over 257% in three years. Michael was also Practice Leader for NCS/Pearson Organizational Assessments, where he partnered with David Campbell and Marshal Goldsmith to implement 100's of leadership and organizational development initiatives. He holds a B.S in Organizational Communications and MIS from the University of Wisconsin.

      Gary JohnsenGary Johnsen, Chief Operating Officer
      Gary has over 23 years of experience in human capital management, HR Strategy, service delivery, talent management, leadership development, workforce analytics and measurement, project management, and six sigma. Previously, Gary served as senior managing consultant for IBM’s HR Strategy & Transformation Organization and People practice. His skills and experience include HR transformation, leadership development, organization surveys, performance and succession management, and HR service delivery.  He has delivered solutions to a broad range of clients including CPG, manufacturing, healthcare, finance, aerospace, and technology organizations. Clients served include 3M, University of Minnesota-Fairview Hospitals, United Health Group, Kellogg’s, Pacific Life, Kroger’s, PepsiCo, New York Life, Federated Insurance, Amgen, Citi, PepsiAmericas, Korn Ferry, KBHome, Ingram Micro Systems, and Lockheed Martin. Gary is a licensed psychologist and earned his MBA from the Opus College of Business at the University of St. Thomas.

      Kevin CrumleyKevin Crumley, Partner/Senior Technical Lead
      Kevin has 15 years of technical experience in talent management and research. Since 2003, Kevin has led all development and enhancement efforts for the company's multiple technology offerings -- including data collection instruments, performance management solutions, complex reporting systems, and cross-platform system integration. Other areas of expertise include web tool internationalization, performance optimization, data security and survey research. When it comes to technology, Kevin's philosophy is - 'technology is a tool that works best when you hardly know you are using it'. Prior to Work Effects, Kevin designed and built secure, end-to-end talent management systems for large-scale clients in numerous countries. He was the lead developer on several major enterprise-wide systems for Questar Data Systems. He holds a B.S. in Psychology and Sociology, with a Concentration in Analysis and Research, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and his honors thesis was named best in the state by the Wisconsin Sociological Association.

        Paul Seymour, PhD, Principal, Director of Coaching and Training
        Paul has 25 years of experience working closely with over 2500 top level executives. He currently works out of Work Effects' training and coaching location in Colorado Springs, Colorado. One of Paul's primary initiatives is assisting organizations in eliminating conflict by delivering an instrument that he co-developed, the Conflict Lens™. The Conflict Lens is a conflict management tool used by consultants and corporations worldwide, most notably McDonald's Hamburger Corporate University. Since 1983, Paul has been on the adjunct faculty of the Center for Creative Leadership, where he has performed thousands of coaching sessions for top leaders of industry. Paul holds a B.A. in Psychology from Whittier College and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Psychology from Utah State University.
