This annual event expects over 650 human resource professionals to be in attendance to hear more than three dozen speakers and presenters on topics ranging from strategic human resources, recruitment and leadership to wellness, work-life balance and the future of human resources. Michael Stewart, president of Work Effects and Jason Bernick, director of corporate affairs for Bernick’s, a St. Cloud-based beverage distributor, will be jointly presenting “Building a Way to Benchmark Organizational Culture through a Trust & Capacity Survey”. This 75-minute presentation will highlight how Bernick’s, which has grown dramatically over the last decade through market expansion and acquisitions, utilized the Trust & CapacityTM survey to assess their corporate culture and make strategic decisions based on the results. According to Stewart, “we are excited to participate in this year’s SHRM State Conference and are looking forward to sharing our experience with human resource professionals across Minnesota. The Trust & Capacity survey is a great tool that helps organizations gain insight into their culture and we appreciate the willingness of Bernick’s management to share its experience with industry professionals.” The presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 11:15am – 12:30pm and will include a discussion of the value of organizational culture assessments, how the Trust & Capacity works and an overview of how Bernick’s puts the information to use.
